Amarion Nimmers Practice Highlights are IMPRESSIVE. On Aug 3, enters Transfer Portal

For what it's worth, looks like Nimmers averaged about 7ppg for Indian Hills. Good percentage from 3, but just under 60% from the FT line.

Arkansas Men's Basketball has at least $5 Million Each Year for NIL to Pay its Players

If anyone on this board wants to start the next Walmart or Tyson Foods, now is a good time. 50 years ago would be a better time, but we can't be too picky.

Which coach would you not want to play for? WBB

I will only be coached by a woman in a multi-colored sequined pantsuit, so it's Mulkey or bust.

    Well, bye (Sandfort)

I'm not saying he's going to play in the NBA or stick around and become a college superstar or anything, but some of you have clearly never watched him play. He's much more than just a shooter and a much better player than you give him credit for.

    McDonalds AA Game

In the Fran era, we have had some college All Americans - Uthoff, Garza, Keegan, Kris. That's better than McDonalds AAs who don't get to that level in college.

All Big Ten 1st Teamer from Iowa next season?

Counting 2014, we have had a 1st team All Big Ten player in 8 seasons, and only 3 without one. No idea what the conference looks like next year with transfers and such, but wouldnt be surprised to see Sandfort or Freeman get there.

Chris Tadjo: “I model my game after Bam Adebayo.”

No, no, no, that's what people say about white guys.

Offseason prediction thread - who's leaving?

The NIT is over and all we know officially is that Dasonte Bowen is moving on. History shows we'll lose some more players. But who? Mark your predictions down now. I predict Perkins and PMac to end their college careers. I think Payton will test the NBA waters but come back. I don't think we...

    Harding

Harding works best when he can create buckets, but in doing so he will turn the ball over more than Fran likes. I think overall it's a positive, but I don't think Fran sees it that way.

ESPN NBA Draft Analyst: Payton has a Ready-Made Skill for the NBA

The Athletic's latest mock draft had Sandfort in the late 2nd round too. I would assume he would at least put his name in for evaluation.

    Any celebs at game tonight?

When Kim Reynolds and Barack Obama can agree on something, you know it's good!

I think Fran walks away after this year

The main reason I could see Fran stepping down is that he's a "relationships" guy in recruiting who is now living in a transactional world.

    Sandfort

We had Perkins, Luka, Keegan, Kris and Joe W on one team. Made it to the second round.

    TCU WBB Not Enough Players

Iowa hasn't had a gray team in years. Not sure how others work. Anyone remember when Alford had to pull a couple guys off of the football team?

5 star kids comments about NIL and recruiting

I was fully supportive of NIL, but I was to naive to think it was going to work this way. I thought the money would come from the schools and their huge media deals, jersey sales, camps, video game rights, etc. I thought it would be great for the Caitlin Clarks of the world who could get...

Better off without Krikke and Pmac

I just noticed the foul stat today too - in 106 games, Patrick has 73 fouls. As primarily a PF. That's insane. And it's not because he's good, it's because he doesn't try.

    North Dakota St wins 108-14

If you ever wondered how your college intramural team would do with a little practice and training, now you know.

    Owen Freeman

The main reason his points went down in the state tourney is because Harding took over. For those who didn't follow it, Brock had 28 of Moline's 59 points in the final game, for example.
