OT?: Northwestern should push to play their home games at their opponents stadiums; think about it

Of the 3 FCS schools Western Illinois has the largest capacity at 16,300. But has little room for temp stands. Illinois state is at 13,000 same issue with temp stands. Eastern Illinois is at 10K has some more room but has a track around it. Not sure if they would like temp stand on their...

OT?: Northwestern should push to play their home games at their opponents stadiums; think about it

NIU is just short of 24K. They probably could put temporary seating in one end zone and work around scoreboard on ther endzone to possibly push to 28-30K. FCS schools should be a non starter as I heard temporary seating going to be 15K at the practice field.

    Lisa Bluder

I'd also add she gets hate from blue blood fans because they don't like anyone crashing their party of them dominating college WBB.

    Lisa Bluder

Some of it is CC related. But also the success she has has the last couple of years. Other fanbases always hate the teams that are beating them. But some of the hate should be discounted. ISU and Nebraska fans hate everything Iowa.

18.9M Viewers vs South Carolina(All-Time College WBB Record); 14.4M vs UConn; 12.3M vs LSU; 6.87M vs Colorado; 4.9M vs W Virginia; 3.23M vs Holy Cross

While I think the college woman's game will take a step backwards for the reasons you gave. It will still be ahead of what it was pre CC. I don't think we will see the CC effect in the WNBA like many do. People are programed to watch basketball in winter to mid spring. WNBA schedule is late...

Rebecca Lobo says Caitlin can’t ever be the GOAT

Blue Bloods don't like when people crash their party. Notice when someone in the media discount CC they always have a blue blood background. They are OK with an Iowa making sweet 16's even elite 8's ever so often. But final 4's and the championship its hold on a second. They're jealous she...

My favorite part about that moving screen

I would never think I would see the day when IOWA WBB would get the game was rigged treatment from ESPN and the Twitter crazies.

The panic moment that almost lost the game

It was unfortunate we made the perfect storm of errors to give UCONN a chance at the end. It gave the tin foil hat wearing conspiracy theorists to push they were going to put IA in the CG Sunday agenda. Plus just great to hear from every UCONN player to ever play for Geno.

Edit, that call is not going to do Iowa any favors

Even with ESPN's shitty ass angle how could you say that's not a foul. Unless you are agenda driven. Oh that's right we are talking about ESPN.

    Las Vegas A’s coming soon!

Why is it going to take 3 years much less 5 years to build a stadium.

You have to win a championship to be considered the goat?

The people who make that argument never take into account she did this at Iowa. The players they put up there against her with championships played on blue bloods that had 5 stars on the bench. Let's also not forget the talent level in the women's game has gotten better.

Clark is a way better sport than me!

All starts with the coach. Bluder one of the classiest coaches out there. Mulkey is the opposite of Bluder.

LSU vs Iowa as an Elite 8 matchup is an epic embarrassment for the NCAA selection committee.

While it's far from done. It will take a hit.

LSU vs Iowa as an Elite 8 matchup is an epic embarrassment for the NCAA selection committee.

It was done on purpose. But stuff like this happens every year.

What drives millions of people’s stupidity when it comes to Caitlin?

A lot of the hatred comes from it's being done at a school like Iowa. They are not a blue blood but not that mid major that people like to gush over during March Madness. Ironically the fact she's doing it at a good but not great program is making the game more popular. If she went to a blue...

    UConn

Another thing that keeps them from being at the same level as other Blue bloods is how many elite 8's and final 4's they have made without winning the whole thing. Other blue bloods have easily double what UCONN has.

The UConn women without a doubt are a blue blood. Pretty sure the OP is talking men.

University of Florida fires all DEI employees in compliance with state law

Exactly. Everyone knew there would be something to replace it. There's a reason we never heard of DEI before the case.
