Can someone translate this to english for me? Am I the only one that has absolutely no idea what "ball hawk on him" means?

After the national duals arm flap celebration by Waters there was some blowback in his direction. He said he wasn't mocking hawk fans but that his celebration was in reference to his intramural football team the ball hawks. Something along those lines anyway.

Riiiiiiight. Nothing unsportsmanlike about that at all, and I'm sure it was nothing but an innocent reference to an intramural football team. Because who can resist thinking about intramural football when they're in the middle of a hotly contested wrestling match in the National Duals? Makes perfect sense to me.

There was an awesome article in the press citizen today (so I am assuming DM rag too), about Gilman possibly meeting Ramos. I can't find a link to it to save my life.

Gilman, in no uncertain terms, said that Ramos wouldn't wrestle Dennis, wouldn't wrestle Clark, & wouldn't wrestle Gilman in the room. So like a coward, he ran. Pretty epic.

Which is exactly why he failed to make the Olympic team or ever do anything on the world stage. You don't become the best wrestler in the world by avoiding the best competition within your own room. Ramos is an idiot.

What odds are you giving your Iowa State wrestlers of making the finals? Gman can win it all and it wouldn't be an upset.

I will also say Gman can win gold and it wouldn't be an upset. He has to improve his leg lace defense.

I'd missed it too, thanks for posting.

I was surprised Gilman won the WTT's and now having done that, I've thought it's a long shot for him to medal... but this makes me feel better about Gilman's chances.
