I say that all the time.
It’s so stupid that 2 babies are born in hospital rooms 20 feet from each other & 1 is considered white & the other is considered African American.
Shouldn’t they both just be called Americans?? Smh
I am sure that was Frans nickname when he played BB in college. He was called white magic. Oh no I will be banned for saying that.
Thankfully Barta is not an admin here.

Which, in my opinion, is evidence that supports exactly why he is staying silent, as he did for the first Dolph incident. If Barta publicly shines the light on Dolph's behavior, then he (and the university) would be susceptible to having the spotlight back on him. This is fascinating to see unfold.

I would imagine most of us on here only care if the players Fran puts on the court can play or not, regardless of race

All these ethnic speech codes sound surprisingly like the Jim Crow and eugenicists of earlier times. For example, how many African ancestors does an individual person need to be considered "black"?
Isn't the point of America the de racialism of culture rather than merely redefining the distribution of racial spoils to create a new class of beneficiaries? Are Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan or Eddie Murphy's kids less privileged than some poor white kid that grew up in some poverty stricken rural community like Davis County, Iowa?
Why do we allow the most sensitive people to control the national conversation? Control of speech through restrictive speech codes is a universal and fundamental aspect of totalitarian societies, throughout history. The ethnicity of the groups change (Jews in Germany in 1939 for example) but the restriction on speech does not.

Since only 4 of the top 100 high school seniors are white, odds are on your favor going for the black dude. If a swim meet breaks out, we’d be in good shape!

There might not be a lot of white kids in the top 100 but we're getting a disproportionately large percentage it seems. Joey W, Connor, Luka, and P McC all top 100 players.
This issue has relevance when someone can identify the black recruits that Iowa ignored to sign inferior white players. Until then, aren't we simply signing the best guys that will come to Iowa.
Haven't the last five, and hopefully next two, signs all been black or, I think Foster is maybe blackish?
