Are we going back to Beware the Legend days, Ephialtes or can you get your spot on the spectrum under control as it pertains to me. Why don't you ignore my posts and I go back to pretending you don't exist.
They are Americans. That's their nationality. One is white and the other black, that's their race, only it's not cool to say "Black" so in America, we call them African Americans.
Oddly, other countries don't do this. They simply recognize "black" as a color, and it's no big deal. You won't hear anyone talking about someone being African British or African French.

The classification you don't like are used to qualify for affirmative action programs on college entry and making ethnic quotas so companies look more diverse and don't show pay biases. I assume you are supportive of affirmative action and anti-bias laws. Otherwise, those categories aren't used. I never got asked to go out an hire a caucasian or African American man or woman as an engineering manager.
I live outside Portland Oregon with thousands of crazies/druggies camping along freeways/public areas throwing their garbage and needles everywhere and begging for stuff or stealing stuff. I'm more concerned about those type of things...what you mention seem trivial.
Yes, that was the nickname of Fran , in college and maybe HS too, but what's the story of why it's brought up now with references to Dolph and Barta?
