He did, but it was a tag out at second, not a force out, and runner heading home lollygagged about three steps from home.

OK, I'd assumed it was a traditional double play. Was it a grounder to 1st, he stepped on the bag then threw to 2nd?
Exactly. Don't forget the check runner in the 1st that the first baseman just missed catching the ball and scored the runner on 3rd. Kind of silly, kind of "how often does that kind of error happen?"
And not to take anything away from Tenn. The play at home in the BTM of 3rd on the non force, just a good heads up by Tenn, FSU baserunner wasn't playing heads up.
Pitching has settled in, but 61 pitches in the 4 1/3..... Gonna need someone else to step up, hold them low so bats have time to come alive.
At some point, shoudn't you swallow your pride & walk a damn guy who's worst at-bat against you in 9 plate appearances was "only" a single? Holy shit, I'd probably walk him even if the bases were loaded.

It was a frustrating loss, as we left some runs out there from bad decisions, unlucky bounces, and some quality defense.
