At least Bball got through the low/mid major schedule without a bad loss to any of those teams. But unfortunately 0-3 with double digit losses to all of our power opponents—3pt shooting was 29% in the losses.

What is the consensus going forward? Based on the results it looks like we have a good low major roster that can’t compete against equal or greater talent.

I haven't watched a lot of FSU basketball yet, but looking at the results, I'd say a .500 conference record and maybe flirting with the tournament bubble but ending up in the NIT.

Looking forward to being at the game on Saturday. Crazy that it will be my first game this season. Son playing travel ball and work travel has really cramped my style.

I’m thinking NIT. I was hoping for a run to the tournament, but the lack of a quality win in non-conference play hurts.

Mixed feelings. On one hand, he's probably the most talented guy on our roster. On the other hand, he turned a lot of people off last year by using the threat of transferring to get more NIL money, then spent a lot of the season looking fairly disinterested in the game that was going on around him.

Yep. I think it’s best for both parties. Think a change of scenery might be best for him personally and his production. Might serve FSU best by clearing out some of that “energy” and getting some $ back into the coffers.

Are they writing NIL "contracts" year to year with perks / bonuses? Seems like every day, every decision, the college game is moving closer and closer to the NFL. Hell, they have more roster stability year to year than the college game at this point.
