The whole thing is insane. Kids are getting 8th or 9th years, while poor Cade might be refused (sarcasm fully intended) a 7th season!

Interesting explanation from Matt Rhule on how Nebraska will structure the 105-man roster.

He said the Huskers will treat the first 57 like an active NFL roster.

The next 38 will be pieced together like a second group, with an eye on keeping numbers balanced by position.

The final 10 (96 to 105) are just team guys, regardless of position. Players who can make the roster better. An example that Rhule used: WR Roman Mangini.
