Soooo. Anyone have any info on what the plan is that they can share? Obviously no need to divulge something that could hurt something in the works. Just say something is in the works with a wink, lol. God bless Stick but even with feeding the shit out of him we might be lacking there. Also can we please not turn this into a bitch fest about how we got here. I'd prefer to continue the positives from the freshman #1 class and build from that. Bitching about not signing people we didn't have any of the 9.9 to give does not help nor does comparing what we have to spend with schools who are allowed to be creative by their compliance departments.

Maybe Spencer can get in his Drexel friend from the finals last year's ear. Damn he is fun to watch.
Yes, indeed. DeSanto's loss to the ISU kid is a head scratcher. DeSanto must have been ill considering the results of both since their meeting.

Well, there some suggestions that Murin was cutting to 133, which is immediately dismissed by the experts as crazy. As long as we are talking about immaginary, unrealistic cutting, there's the Glosser to 141 rumor to start. And Duggan at 141 is also a "thing" but then that starts a discussion about if he got relased from his transfer or not. And he hasn't wrestled this year so there's also some "mystery".

Other than that, a transfer in at 133.

Oh, and this post needs a little of the Kwood special...

What happened to Ohio State's 125 last year Jose Rodriguez? I know he left the Ohio State program because he could not continue to cut to 125 and he couldn't beat out Pletcher at 133, but where did he go?

Obviously, an in conference transfer isn't the best solution as they rarely happen bc of the extra sitting out time, but if he has transferred somewhere else this season maybe it is an option. He showed a lot of talent and won some big matches when he had some energy. Other matches it looked like he could barely walk let alone wrestle with the brutal weight cut. I believe he was from New York State originally and was a top 40 recruit after I want to say 3 State Championships in high school.

Anyone have any idea where he ended up?

Legal issues, not enrolled anywhere currently but did compete at 141 at the clarion open.

No one worth a darn at 133 this year or next year. Haven't heard of any good or great 133's that we are even looking at. Murin can make 133 next year if he starts the cut early and does it right. If McD made 125 anything is possible. Then we have a hole at 141 because Turk and Happel aren't going to be fighting for National Titles.

We have heard the Glosser cutting threats for years. Not happening. And Duggan isn’t a legit answer.

Aliyev (Azerbaijan), Rashidov (Russia), Khinchegashvili (Georgia), Bonne (Cuba), Yatsenko (Ukraine), Bekhbayar (Mongolia).

Seriously, do I have to solve every problem for this program?
I was thinking the same thing the other day so many athletes from other countries compete for universities in track and field, tennis, soccer I wonder why we dont have more like Boris.

Well, if Rashidov is "clean" and qualifying as "OAR", then go for it.

Funny story from high school wrestling. Bergen Catholic in NJ is notorious for recruiting wrestlers from all over NJ, NY, CT. One year they actually had a kid move here from Romania. A friend of mine who was a retired ESL teacher told me BC approached him about helping the kid with his English skills, which they said were "a little rough."

He went to the kid's house with the coaches, who introduced him to the parents. He then approached the kid and said, "What is your name?" To which the kid smiled and replied, "Seventeen!"

He told the coaches he probably wasn't going to be able to help, and they just had an interpreter follow him everywhere.
