18 y/o Florida commit now listed at 7’9”

Seems a tad game breaking. At what point do we create a height limit for college? This is like letting a 250lb wrestle a 150.
The extra height can actually be a disadvantage. Lots of supertalls (7'3+) bow out early due to being more prone to injury, and early onset of bone/joint issues such as arthritis.

If he's a legit 7'9", he's going to have a full foot on many teams' opposing centers (assuming that's going to be his natural position). But a lot of those 6'9" frontcourts are going to run circles around him. This isn't high school hoops or little sisters of the poor. Lots of 6'9" SEC players have aspirations of going pro - even if most of them have to do it overseas.

I highly doubt this kid has a hoops career past college. Shoot, he could have health issues in his early 20s that'll force him to quit in college.
