19 Class > 18 Class ?

I love our early verbals this year and think this new younger staff will really start to pay off on the recruiting front as well. We are having an uptick in recruiting and a young returning core of players. I have the feeling we are going to have a good stretch in the next few years.

I think we are going to see a year after year trend of recruitting classes being "better" that being said the guys from 16 were important to get 17 and 17 to get 18 etc. In other words I think the staff is stepping it's game up.

Some really good programs are still trying to get involved with Miller and Endres. They are wasting their time.

Average star rating is the most important indicator of a strong class.

We are early in the process so the next few commits will be telling. We've gotten the interest of some solid rated guys. Will they buy in? IDK. The trend does need to continue. Im still a bit peeved about it taking until now to gain traction.

Recruiting throughout the B1G is improving as stated above. Purdue, Minny, Neb, even INdiana are right around us. Even though NW though finishing last in the B1G in the recruiting rankings continues to have 10 win seasons. Iowa must translate recruiting to wins to stay relevant.

I agree. But, just as important is the number of guys that can contribute, regardless of star rating. It takes a ton of guys to have a really good football team.
