Folks....Im sad
I really wanted that game. And just sad about that loss. I even will acknowledge that Fran's late season record is not what we all want.
However, I'm 33 years old and I can honestly say I dont remember Iowa basketball's last Sweet 16. I would've been 11/12 but I really dont remember Dr Tom Davis at all. I remember Alford and nothing before. Before you all start calling for Fran's head and analyzing the team/coaching/subs (I have thoughts as well), how about before you get mad at him for not winning the National Championship (which as far as I know, we are still eligible to compete for) lets get me that Sweet 16.
He has a loaded roster, a fun style of play, and pretty sure next week this team will still be ranked.
