Freshman Brody Teske and senior Dayton Racer. I hope Iowa looks really hard at Teske in a few years as a future 125.

The Senior portion of that tourney and to a lesser degree the whole thing is not what it used to be. The USAW folk tourney keeps many in the midwest.

I won't argue with that but it remains a quality tournament with a fair number of top 20 ranked wrestlers.

one name I see that keeps coming up all year is colbray ,a jr at 197. that sure seems like a need weight for us.

Agree that Teske looks like a good one as does Alex Thomsen from Underwood.

Teske went undefeated as a freshman for Fort Dodge. He is a hammer. Great kid, very humble. If he keeps developing, he will be a good one.

So did future Hawk Cash Wilcke, at 195. Apparently, there were only 5 guys in his bracket, however. Seems weird for a national tournament. Also read that he plans to wrestle 184 in college, so 197 remains a need.

Where is this info for post season nationals on these iowa boys. Take a link if anyone can provide

Just heard on the local sportscast that Racer says he is considering Iowa, Missouri, and Cornell.

Teske was down 4-0 when video started and had to fight back. He showed a lot of fire power finishing on a couple nice TDs and was countered on 3 or 4 try's that he just could not finish. To me he resembled Cory Clark. Lost 14-8 I believe and despite the score looks to be very good.
