The seats that Matt Gaetz and Tim Waltz won by 30 points in November are the subject of a special election. Gaetz held the 1st District, and Waltz the 6th. The 1st seems much more secure, but polling in the 6th shows Democrat Josh Weil either leading or trailing Republican Randy Fine by 3-4 points. Even with a loss that seems like a massive swing in sentiment, and might give another reason as to why Trump pulled the nomination of Elise Stefanik.

Trump was so worried about the numbers he f-cked over Stefanik to keep her in the House.

Yeah. I don’t see any room for a D win regardless of polling.
And as mentioned, Fine will soon outdo all for the title of ignorant piece of shit.
Some, even just 10% of Magat voters seem to not take part in polls many times and we see a 1-2% poll end up being a 5% Repub victory. In Florida the voters dont feel the need to take part in polling.

But it would be great to see a Dem win one seat. And who knows about Stefanik's seat as iirc it is a bit of an upscale district and maybe those people are ready to turn on the Orange Turd

Going from a 30 points margin to a 5 point margin is not good. If that standard stays consistent through midterms next year Democrats will not only take control of the House by a large margin, they will also take control of the Senate. Donnie won't be able to walk away from another impeachment trial this time.

From some of what I have read DeSantis and Fine are not pals, and a lot of pressure has been applied to DeSantis to turn out his voters to help Fine. I don't know Florida, is this accurate? And, what if DeSantis doesn't really put his heart into this effort? Special elections are odd because usually it's only the highly motivated, regular voters who turn out.
Still, it could be a massive swing since last November.

WI supreme court Eloon corruption chaos also tomorrow. Big day tomorrow with a ton on the line.
