Yep that's a Hawkeye way to lose. One helleva rare surprise for us.I would have been hated to be a Rutgers fan that day. Corner bank three as the clock expires to lose the game. It doesn't get any worse.
YouTube?Does anyone have a full-game recording of this win?
Vs. NW believe so yepJust the week before was when JBO hit the game winner wasn’t it?
Dang man. Don’t remind us of the bad times. Then Rutgers came back and kicked Iowa’s ass in Iowa City.
love the look 👀 on that NW KID’s face. It ended up in some (insurance) commercial.Vs. NW believe so yep

It was pure luck, but I took it with glee.On the flip side, what an amazing way to win a tight game.
That shot was unreal. That kind of shot is a H-O-R-S-E game winner, even if it just started.
We passed off the does it ever NOT go in baton to Rutgers.I would have hated to be a Rutgers fan that day. Corner bank three as the clock expires to lose the game. It doesn't get any worse.
Great moment, Chis. You just put a big smile on my face. 🥃🥃

We can relate! Finish strong!I said this in another thread but I was sitting at a bar watching that game. When he made that shot & we lost I just kept banging my head on the bar crying "why???"
Jim Spanarkel said "Uh-oh" on the corner shot and "I don't believe what I just saw!"The shot itself was amazing. But even the entry pass and tip...which landed in the perfect spot was unreal
If it was impossible, it would have never gone in.Impossible angle.
The video in OP was about 3 rows behind me...you can see the top of my head right at the end...here is my son's shot of the shot...
We have been...queue NW StI would have hated to be a Rutgers fan that day. Corner bank three as the clock expires to lose the game. It doesn't get any worse.
In terms on incredible miracle game finishes, it rivals the 2006 Outback and The Catch. Game not as important as a Bowl game, but victory was just as unlikely.
2005.
How did you like the RAC? it's old and dumpy but loud & crazy
Iowa played in the 2006 Outback Bowl. 2005 was Capital One Bowl.
We've been to every Iowa game at the RAC since you joined the B1G...the crowd in 16 and 17 wasn't much, but the 18 and 19 crowds were very loud...18 was packed, 19 not so much...the non-symmetrical seating around the court is interesting- would hate to be top row on the side opposite the scorers table!
Always have been able to get great seats and parking, I don't think I've been more then 10 rows back of the Iowa bench, a couple of times in the 2nd or 3rd row...2016 I think we were 2nd Row Half Court...
Usually grab a quick snack pre game at that diner right outside of the parking lot---I think students can use their meal plan there? Can't remember the name, but it's got a decent Rueben which is my baseline for judging diners...
The view is apparently good from up there. I've never been higher than 3rd row of the second level. I'm usually 1st row behind the RU men's bench because a friend has awesome seats.
Henry's diner...good food close by. We joined the Rutgers Club 2 years ago. You can eat there but you allegedly have to be a member to drink. Much more upscale than the diner.
If you've been to all the MBB games does that mean you're a local? 8f so, open invite to our football tailgate when we play Iowa next year.
