Hot Fuzz is great. Wish there was a half like button. Idk I like Elf, I can see why one wouldn’t. It’s something for every age group which is not easy to pull off.

So many funny scenes in Dog Day Afternoon. One of the great comedies ever.
The Jerk, for pure comedy, is hard to beat.
Except maybe something like Holy Grail.... which was next level shit
80s we’re great. 2000s were excellent. 2000s > 80s. Also, Dumb and Dumber and Tommy Boy alone bring the 90s into the convo.

That movie is such a slow burn, but that last 30 minutes was so good. I saw it in the theatre and the whole place was dying by the end.
Great movie, love Simon Pegg & Crew.
Maybe we can all agree the combination of the three decades 80s, 90s,2000 is truly a something to behold and will never be threatened in any following three decade stretch.
80s and 00s is too close to call for me after reviewing the lists.
Can’t remember name of this ‘00s movie but it had one of the funniest scenes. Maybe it was Anthony Anderson- anyway he’s this upper class black actor practicing being a thug in the mirror but can’t seem to get it right. Had me rolling!

Born in 85 so I wasn't old enough to know any of these without the education of my parents on such quality films.
I often say that I HATE 80s music but LOVE 80s movies.
For comedies, I give the nod to the 80s over the 00s but the 00s have some great comedies. I know you all will hate me but not enough Sandler movies on the list.
