No, he ran the wrong direction in the wrong lane, so obviously he didn't know where the finish line was. For him,in the 100, they had to clear the last 3 lanes as they didn't know which one he would be running the wrong direction in, and they started with 20 seconds on the clock, counted down, and posted the difference.Originally posted by Rocket98:
Good times. Did he run the right direction? Did he run in his lane? Did he know where the finish line was? Those are good predictors of guys in the future that will knows their routes. And now the big question-Can he catch the ball?

We need to find a QB who can throw to WRs...other than 5 yard dump passes, often in a panic.
A QB with vision...calm in the pocket...and hey, while we are dreaming, coaches who will allow a QB to throw a ball or two beyond the dump pass range.
Gosh, maybe we want to assume a bit more risk, since we have dropped down to struggling against ISU and MAC teams...
My two cents...
Agreed on the pretty quick--Jermelle Lewis ran 10.7 in HS and was quick enough for any position we coulda put him in...Originally posted by jerbob36:
No offense to Haluska, but there is no way he was close to a 10.1. Hand timed = potential to be quite a bit off.
10.6/48.3 is pretty quick. Thanks for posting.
wasnt there strong wind on Adam's time?Originally posted by jerbob36:

Correct. I would have to double check but I think Dwight's best time at the Iowa state meets was 10.6.Originally posted by kelsoe:
The iowa guys u mentioned were very fast. The times u mentioned were not valid. Check their state and drake times and u will see more accurate measures. 10.6 and 48.3 are very good this early in the season. The 48.3 probably more so because the timing system doesn't come in to play as much.
Ogwo does plan to run track at Iowa.Originally posted by ProudHawk28:
48.3 in the 400 is damn fast as well, he could run at Iowa.

Is it a misdemeanor or a felony?Originally posted by justhanginaround:
That's not the way FAT times work. Brodell did not run an electronic 10.4. The fastest electronic time in Iowa history was run last year, 10.6. Haluska's time was hand-held and turned around to run with a very strong wind instead of against it. That is now illegal to do during state-qualifying meets.
Okay so he is fast.Originally posted by tajaka:
FYI, Ogwo ran a F.A.T. 100m dash time of 10.6 and a 400m dash time of 48.3 last night at his latest track meet.
With good coaching they can learn that also.Originally posted by DogBoyRy:
That's good but this type of speed is not needed in the GDGD offense that put up 17 on mighty ISU.
We need guys who can downfield block on first down, run a route the defense will be all over on second down and then run a good 3 yard out on 3rd and 8 with a 8 yard cushion by the db.
