By all accounts, the 2020 class is a collection of late bloomers. Is HR going to do a check-in / story on these guys on how their seasons are coming along?

That would be great...I would love to see it. The bits and pieces that we have seen so far indicate that Perkins, Ulis, and the Murray's are having pretty good years. Just haven't heard nearly as much on Josh O.....the little video I saw on him showed a guy with a need to get in better shape but with good hands and a big body.

Hopefully he'll take some lessons from "Pudge Garza", and drop 30lbs, and then work his butt off and put it back on in muscle. He has the perfect role model to prepare him.....

Based on some internet sleuthing, it doesn't look like Ogundele has played in Worcester's recent games. Or isn't mentioned in the recaps, anyway.

I have already decided that Tony “Saucy T” Perkins is my favorite 2020 recruit based solely on his nickname; regardless of his on court performance.

In fact, I hope Saucy T redshirts one year for the sole reason that I can refer to him as such for 5 rather than 4 years as a member of the program.

While they may well have the most need for development, the twins are who we need to step up next year.

Pemsl and Nunge probably aren’t going to be an answer at the 4, but could give us options for some back-up minutes in the post. When we encounter athletic length at the 4 it would be nice to have a bigger option then Conner.

Perkins will be fun to watch, but there’s likely to be plenty of options at 1 thru 3 that will get minutes ahead of him. We could actually be a decent pressing team with Joe T, Joe W, CJF, Ulis, and Perkins. J Bo, Joe W, and CJF can really spread the floor. With Conner in the mix we’d put a bunch of ball handlers on the floor too.

Remind me to believe as we struggle due to lack of numbers this season.

I think Iowa will need to recruit another 4/5 this spring, regardless if Garza declares for the NBA or not.

If Garza were to leave Fran would have to look at a Grad transfer.

Ulis and Perkins will see very little time next season. Whose minutes should they take....Joe T? Joe Dub? CJF? Jordan? Connor? PMac (assuming he is able to play again)? I'd like to see them redshirt. Of course Jordan's ability to play, which seems far from certain, would affect the rotation.

As this season demonstrates, the long bench is a bad idea. Playing the core of your best players as long as possible is the recipe for success, especially at Iowa. By "long as possible" I mean as long as fatigue or foul trouble becomes a factor.

If the Ks have made the improvements that are rumored, and I sure hope they have, they might get some time at the 4. Even Josh O is probably the third big behind Garzilla and Jack.
