Even though it might lock up a 1 seed for them, I say go Illinois. Right now, I’m all about protecting our two seed. OSU, West Virginia, and possibly Nova losing would help that. And then of course OSU losing guaranteed a double bye.

Kind of makes me want to puke having to cheer for Illinois and their coach.
Hate Illinois but actually have no bone to pick with Underwood. Like him a lot more than Izzo, Archie, or Lil Rick
Wait, if we win tomorrow...then NOTHING about todays game makes any difference. However, if Illinois loses today and either loses BEFORE Iowa or to Iowa in the BIG tourney....would we not take their #1 seed? There is no way OSU jumps us unless they win today AND finish better then Iowa in the BIG tourney.....CORRECT?
Correct. Iowa wins and today is moot in regard to BTT seeding. If OSU wins and Iowa loses....Iowa gets the 5 seed.

Agreed - they have been lacking a very good coach/recruiter ever since Self headed to KU. I think Underwood might have found a home and like you, I have no bone to pick with him...
