I hope Lunardi is full of *, because - should it happen - tell me how an ILL team that loses on BTT-QF Friday to an Indiana team stays a #1 in the Big Dance vs an Iowa team that finished the season winning 10 of 11 (only loss @ a #1 seed [Michigan]), including 3 road games and 3 neutral site games and beating a 1-seed in Michigan in the BTT final?
I don't see the Hawks' NET rating being outside the Top4/5 if they win tomorrow and win the BTT [going through WIS/PSU/NEB, ILL/MD/IND and MI/PUR/OSU], but who knows.
They kept harping that with the win today, no matter what they do in Indy at the BTT, Illinois cemented its 1-seed status for the Big Dance - according to Lunardi. But if OSU had won, it would have changed seed lines with ILL.
If an OSU win today would have swapped ILL/PSU on the 1/2 lines, then ILL is not "cemented" into its 1-seed status, IMO.
