35 Years Ago Today, Cary Grant Died In Davenport, Iowa

On November 29, 1986, Cary Grant was at the Adler Theater
preparing for a show. He had a massive stroke there and was
transported to St Luke's Hospital. Grant died in the hospital
that night. He was 82 years old.

Cary Grant was a great actor who made some wonderful films.
North By Northwest is a favorite of mine. He played a debonair
and suave guy who falls in love with Eva Marie Saint in a spy
mystery thriller.

He was cremated and his ashes thrown into the
Pacific Ocean. His Will stipulated that there be no
funeral. His estate was worth about $70 million and
left to his wife Barbara Harris.
