Very happy with the defensive effort. It started early. Guys were closing out fast, staying in front of their man, and communicating well. As a result, Purdue never really got going.

Shots weren't really falling, but this was great to see.

Grabbed 75% of the defensive rebounds...that plus Purdue's Sasha was defended pretty well = win.

Defense and rebounding are easier to be more consistent. Shooting will not always be there. That effort was much better by Iowa and will win them a lot of games.
