57 Muslim countries' foreign ministers met in Saudi Arabia today and voted upon taking Palestinian refugees to resolve the issue.

One thing that has seemed to be true going back to Arafat is that the rest of the Muslim world isn’t actually interested in helping Palastinians but prefer to use them as a tool.

The 91 felonies and counting, stealer of classified documents, rapist, conman, ripping off charities, pervert going into Miss USA locker room, Putin puppet, leader of the Insurrection against our government terrorist? That piece of shit? Surely you aren't dumb enough to vote for a literal rapist terrorist, right,
Cry me a river to the sea and bend over because Trump is about to go up in you.

See, e.g., Aleppo.
Syrian refugees and relocation were long running when Russia and Assad started doing to Aleppo what Israel is doing to Gaza today.

Interesting that we all agree one of those is/was awful, but can't agree on the other.

I think they are both awful. Just in case there was any doubt. I used to think I could count on all liberals to be consistent on condemning this sort of outrage, but I was wrong.

I don't hold myself out as an expert on Syria. It is my understanding that Syria had a civil war, and then Russia intervened to help Assad, and then a host of other countries, terrorist groups, etc all got involved. It was so mixed up that at times, both we and the Russians were attacking the same terrorist groups who formed a caliphate in part of Syria, not controlled by the government. So no, I do not think Syria's problems were caused by the West. And for the last time I am an independent. I am not a liberal/democrat and I am not a republican/conservative, although I certainly lean more left than right on most issues these days.

Russia isn’t western anyway

Would venture to guess most people protesting would not want them either. We have seen plenty evidence from our border of people who say “we need to take care of people” when faced with actually having to do it.

I am sure there are many reasons for all the varying countries that do not want to take in refugees.
I would guess that the decision is primarily rooted in one or a combination of these 4 reasons
1. religious differences
2. fear of Hamas being included
3. Not wanting to be on the opposite side of Israel
4. finances

Now that I offered my guess, is that a recycled tweet, or was there a meeting of the OIC other than the one in November 2023?
Do they ever want their Islamic cousins? They know it’s better to push them on the infidels and have them procreate.
