Without your contrarian viewpoint, we wouldn't know that the senior class has largely underperformed, the Hawks no longer attack like in the days of yore, and it's not all sunshine and rainbows. Good way to put it. I might not agree with criticism I've gotten (pointing out facts and results now being a bad thing) from fellow Hawk posters but I also understand where it comes from. Some are indeed very close to wrestlers and coaches who may read or even occasionally post here. I get that they want to keep it positive 24/7.

I don't get why outsiders would get involved. Why wouldn't they just enjoy the carnage from afar? Reminds me of that weird movie about people and car accidents getting aroused--Crash, with James Spader.

No, just rereading some of the old threads from last year. I didn't know they went back that far. And back then, there was no "like" feature.

Some of the threads are classic. I'm fond of this one.

I am also so sick of the pen state trolls I am living in the past-- where they don't exist.

It's fun to read what people were thinking last year compared to this year, along with what's changed or what hasn't changed. Some guys got it right, some didn't. It's all there.

I do watch Groundhog Day every year when it rolls out. It never gets old.

You were on quite a negative roll last year IIRC and sometimes we all need slapped upside the head.

You know I'm not a sunshine and rainbow guy...I have had my rants and wallered in some craziness too. As for the PSU guys, many of them might know my posts from reading over there but much of their interaction with me (Dice, JTS, Goldbanger, Chickenman etc) is done over here. Why? Because they are good dudes and don't bring negativity with them. Dice, for example, debates actual wrestling...not polishing Cael's knob constantly.

I try and call it like I see but admit I am biased towards Iowa. I expect nothing less from the next guy. But if they are good posters, who gives a damn what school they root for?

WTF is the ban hammer? FYI the only thing that shuts those goofs up is dragging them into their own recent past and a stark reminder of what they supported for all those years--not a fun place to be when you really, I mean really, think about it.

But yeah, last was a total waste of a season there to be had. It was/is fun to reread the rants, attacks, predictions, hopes, failures and one-liners. I forgot how disliked I was by the feel good, pile-on crowd. I'm hopelessly addicted to the thrill of salvaging an untenable position. That's the problem with being a sports FAN. We have no recourse to affect the results.

The problem is every time you mention these "good guys", that makes another couple dozen Clowns think "he must be talking about me", then we get more. IMO of course. I've got finger cramps from putting so many of these jackwads on Ignore. Free Country and all, but that's my opinion.

Welp...don't know what to tell you...you're the one always saying its a free country and all. Last year, hardly any of the PSU trolls stopped by and when they are awesome, they come out of the woodwork. Think there is maybe more of a correlation there than whatever the hell I do with my time.
