I remember watching his senior football highlights, I believe he played 8-man football. He was a man among boys. I thought he had the ability to be a preferred walk-on and contribute down the line as a TE, based on what I saw of him catching and running with the ball. Sounded like he may be ahead of a few scholly guys on the interior DL at this time for a backup role. Would be nice if he could turn out to be a Tyler Luebke-Scott Pospisil type player.

Springville alum here! way to go Jake!! the Orioles also have another player at the college level a year behind Jake, in Elias Nissen at UNI. Not too bad for 8 man and they helped produce probably two of the school's best years of football ever. we have always pretty much sucked, 8 man, 11 man, heck we could put 14 men out there and in my years we would still lose.
