How many B1G Teams make the Sweet 16?

I put zero, but I also thought Iowa would pull off what Michigan was able to do.

I voted 1, but only from the standpoint of weird things tending to happen when it comes to the NCAA tourney.
The individual matchups, though, don't look good for any of the teams.
minny and mary have the best shot. I can see pu suffering a first round knockout, but if they get by that one the 'clones will take them down.

I voted 4 simply because after hearing the media say that our conference was so weak this year, I'm hoping that 4 teams will open a can of whoopass and advance!

Purdue likely throttles ISU because ISU has no size and PU has the guards to defend the perimeter.
Purdue doesn't have enough guards to defend the perimeter. ISU is a very bad match-up for the boilers. I am very hopeful that both win their 1st game.

When you have Mathias and Thompson you don't need a lot of guards. They have Albrecht if either of them is in foul trouble which isn't likely if Purdue simply sticks to a zone and forces Iowa State to shoot contested three pointers while owning the paint on offense. If Iowa can handle ISU, I don't see PU having any problems with them. I think the matchup is much worse for ISU than it is for PU.

That was Dec and this is now. ISU is a much different(better) team now. I find it interesting that the B10 champ is 4 seed. The committee doesn't think much of the conference. I am not scared by Purdue one bit.

Unless all of ISU's players have grown since December, ISU doesn't have the size to match up against Purdue, especially when Swanigan and Edwards are threats from the perimeter as well as inside. Purdue is a dangerous team that should definitely not be taken lightly.

Purdue and Michigan have the best shots at making the Sweet 16. We might not get any.

Purdue will have to beat ISU to make the Sweet 16, assuming both win their opener. I see an even matchup.

isu is on upset alert in the first round according to some experts. Hope they do lose

Really having a hard time finding a single team that has a viable path to the sweet sixteen.

It's just a really interesting game for both teams - I think ISU and Michigan are comparable teams and Michigan had good success against Purdue. Whole game comes down to how well Burton plays - can he draw out Swanigan or Haas to the perimeter and make good choices when he does? Whole game centers around him.

That said I wouldn't be shocked to see them lose to Nevada - super similiar teams.

The B1G is 5-2 so far

Will be interesting to see how many of the 5 advance to the Sweet 16.

Can any of the 5? Is Purdue the B1G's only hope? Or will Wisky and Michigan pull off upsets?

On Saturday:
Wisky is a 6 pt dog to Nova
N'w is an 11 pt dog to the Zags
Purdue and ISU are even

On Sunday:
Michigan will be a dog to #2 seed L'ville
Mich State will be a dog to #1 seed Kansas

The key for Purdue to beat the clowns is rebounding. Nevada had chances to take down ISU but kept giving up second chance points.

Saturday Results:
Wisky WON as a 6 pt dog to Nova
N'w LOST as an 11 pt dog to the Zags
Purdue BEAT ISU

The B1G is 7-3 at day's end Saturday, with 2 teams so far advancing to the Sweet 16.

Can Michigan and Michigan State now pull off upsets?

On Sunday:
Michigan will be a dog to #2 seed L'ville
Mich State will be a dog to #1 seed Kansas
