I did see another article where the therapist was like, “a lot of it is acknowledging that yes, society is coming apart at the seams…and find ways for clients to deal with that”

It doesn’t shock me that anxiety is on the rise….the world and our country are falling apart. How are people supposed to deal with it? I mean I have taken the perspective that I’m just going to cheer it on and watch as we plummet over the edge. At least going to enjoy the show!

Willaim Henry Harrison died of Pneumonia which he developed after giving a two-hour inaugural address. I am sure it was a fine speech, but it never gets talked about since he died right away.

I would urge Mr. Trump to ignore the drumbeat calling for him to set himself up for such a demise. He owes it to the country to live through his inauguration ... even though he seems to have a Rasputin-like allergy to all of the more common ailments such as the common cold, the flu, and assassination.

I get that people can have anxiety, but I’m a little surprised that psychologists, of all people, would not be more in the “acknowledge reality” camp and less in the “reinforce fantasy” camp when it comes to coping strategies.

Let me fact check this for you because I was going to make such a post somewhere else, because we were always taught this " inauguration fact " in school. After a little research I found this:
