Theo Von is right leaning? I never would have guessed that. I've only heard small portions of his show.
The big money (elitists) want an even bigger piece of the money pie and control the media and continue to finance the shows and politicians because they can never get enough

Anyway... lets go down this rabbit hole. Conservative billionaires are buying up the media and turning them into right-leaning megaphones.
Fine. But it would be interesting to see how the popularity of various op-ed shows changed over the years, and also how the gross total number of eyeballs watching these shows changed over the years.

As a leftist democrat, I actually enjoy Jordan Peterson. I think his personal politics were probably left leaning. Then he got attacked for a number of reasons:
1. People took his opposition to Ontario law on requiring preferred pronouns as anti-trans, but in reality he was just a free speech advocate.
2. He wrote a series of self help and advice books that appealed to down and out men who felt left out by society. These are typically MAGA type folks but the messaging wasn't necessarily targeting them and it was mostly positive about how to make your life better and take responsibility for your life and your role in society..
3. MAGA type folks started providing monetary support to him in the way of attending speeches, buying books, etc. and he was cancelled by the left for what amounted to crappy reasons. Fast forward he embraced what appealed to MAGA and got personally pissed off by the left due to their misunderstanding of him, and then just embraced conservative culture.
It's unfortunate, because I don't think that was who he was, but it is who he became.

Interesting conclusion. He wrote stuff that appealed to down and out men and held them accountable for getting better. The left mischaracterized him. The right embraced him and caused him to financially profit. Then he said fine. I'll sell my product to these guys. The left leaving him wouldn't have mattered except the right was also financially profitable.
And yet, the right will still bitch about the mainstream media except that all the most popular radio, pods, and news is all right leaning.
Makes sense , maga need people to tell them what to think/hate this week.
But not ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, PBS, NPR, NYT, AP, etc...

"The President said, without evidence, that blah, blah, blah."
Or
"The President incorrectly said such and such and such."
They NEVER did that before Trump and they rarely did it to Biden.

There is no doubt the left needs to connect more on social media. My 20-something son has no idea what The View is or even anyone on Fox News, but he sure knows how to find info and shows that are on Tik Tok, Instagram and other social media.

About half the republicans on that list are former democrats. the left drove them away because of their insane ideas and cancel culture.
This is also what gives me hope about the maga party. Trump is uniting the right and the sane left.
Since Rush Limbaugh I realized that the Right is not only more gullible and likely to fall for urban legends, they also love to congregate in echo chambers and reinforce each other’s views.
I mean, Rush’s catchphrase was “ditto” and none of them every grasped the self-own.
