A Message to Jasmine Crockett NOW WITH PART 2!

The part about what $5000 will do for you was dumb, but where is this money coming from? I have yet to see any accounting for supposed savings. Oh wait, they aren't even accountants or auditors.

Well...regardless of the auditor, I think the point the man in the OP was trying to make was that if you give Joe Taxpayer a choice between keeping $5000 of his own tax money or giving it to Iraq so they can have Sesame Street, I'm guessing most would choose to keep that money.

Yes.... but what if those young Iraqi's never figure out how to get to sesame street?

Yes.

We can debate the feasibility of it, but declaring $5,000 would not benefit Americans and that Democrats don’t hand out money is laughable.

I thought giving people free money would drive up inflation so much that it wouldn't be worth it?

🤔
This reminds me of the time AOC said the goal was to make 3rd world cou tries so nice, with our money, they didn't WANT to come to america......

Ya can't fix stupid

Yes, I also believe Ms. Crockett was/is in favor of reparations. Where would that money come from? For the record, I’m against the rebate idea; it would simply be more prudent to shift any and all cost savings against our enormous national debt.

Agreed.

When it comes to our money, these clowns are not serious adults.

Are we printing trillions to give away, or is this money that was already in the budget that would be returned to the people??

I feel like there’s an important difference.

Also, I don’t think a 5K rebate is a good idea. A small percentage of the total funds saved split up amongst the people? Sure. But throwing out the 5K number feels reckless.
