So let me get this straight

You're free to open up your checkbook and/or head over and help in the fight.

I have. No doubt I pay more in taxes than you.

You're free to cover the costs of the Afghanistan and Iraq war - you know - the wars you assholes started and cheerled to the tune of 6 trillion dollars against countries that mean f*ckall to America. The 7000+ dead American soldiers were sure worth it, weren't they?

You have me confused with someone else. I'm not a foreign interventionist.

And you should have doubt regarding the taxes because only one variable is known to you.

Ya, I'm sure you were super opposed to those GOP led invasions. I can recall it now, all the conservative opposition. Oh wait, I recall you assholes calling anyone who opposed wars against those geopolitical wastelands anti-American. Convenient you weren't one of those cheerleaders. I'm sorry to report your comrades in MAGA didn't share the same views.

Here we are, against an actual geopolitical foe, and you shitheads bitch about fractions of the military budget.

It's almost as if you’re projecting here.

Obama was wrong there - Romney was correct. I can admit that as a democrat. Russia hadn't gone to the levels they are at now - but he was still wrong.

Meanwhile, you assholes want to give Putin everything and allow him to go again in a few years. Obama saw the err in his ways and started arming Ukraine. He also started to prod NATO on getting their shit together (something Trump also has done - to his credit - although I fear his motives are not genuine).

Earlier in that. The Monroe doctrine
I disagree, because that was just telling the European monarchies/empires that once kicked out of the Americas, they couldn't come back.
We didn't actually intervene in Central America until after the Spanish-American war.

How many journalists and political opponents has Zelenskyy murdered?
Backing up before Zelensky, ugly shit was happening in Ukraine after we fomented that coup with the help of their far right (the ones that like to use actual Nazi symbols).

At Least 10 Opposition Figures Have Died in Ukraine Just This Year

The spate of murders and suspicious suicides does not bode well for Ukraine’s democracy.

...The US and European outcry over the deaths of these Ukrainian opposition figures has been, shall we say, muted, and not only in comparison to the outcry which followed the death of Boris Nemtsov. Today we see nothing close to the outrage which ensued after the murders of Russian opposition journalists and activists Paul Klebnikov (2004), Anna Politkovskaya (2006), and Alexander Litvinenko (2006). The reason for this is not difficult to discern.

Our wondrously pliant Beltway media has, for months now, ignored the spate of murders and suspicious suicides in Kiev because it prefers not to report on the illiberal tide that is now sweeping over Kiev.

The lesson policymakers (as well as the many 2016 presidential aspirants) might take away from the example of post-Yanukovych Ukraine is that overthrowing democratically elected governments, however corrupt, is not a promising recipe for building the kinds of “civil societies” that we are told are in America’s interest.
