A thought for our pbp guys

For our hs meets I used to use an app called "Mixlr" to broadcast live audio play-by-play of wrestling events. You can setup an account and either install a Windows app or an app for your smartphone, then supply a link, and then broadcast your voice doing live play-by-play. It is really easy to use.

I thought maybe one of our guys could do something like that for events like Illinois, where there's no commentary, or even BTN events -- where the commentators know next to nothing about wrestling.

Just a thought.

Sounds like a cool idea, art. I'd love to give that a try some time. Would be fun.

Amazingly, it appears the meet is not on BTN Plus. The only streaming is from Illinois's web site. Mixlr is a pretty cool thing -- the HS kids loved having their meets' audio broadcast.

Thanks, art -- I just deleted my question because I saw in the other thread that the meet will be on Illinois' site, without commentary. Your post makes even more sense now. Wish I could get it set up in 20 minutes -- I'd love to give it a crack! Alas, I have no clue how to do it.

It literally takes no more than two minutes.
