The most sanctimonious professor I have ever had was really into Post Colonial Theory and the writers associated. He would always somehow manage to throw in who he has met or knows as if it's part of the lesson...and he really loved talking about how much he was making off his book.

You would think an English professor who has in his syllabus that it's an automatic fail if you plagiarize....would know not to plagiarize his heroes in a book he wrote that they would probably eventually get around to reading.

He was canned, reputation ruined...as should happen to anyone else that does the same.
