Bilas isn't a homer, he calls it like it is. He calls out college refs and rightfully so. Neither one of those before the break were charges. Both offensive players were to the side.
Illinois is really good.
Duke has also looked like sh!t (by Duke standards) against MSU and Illinois

With that said, Duke is overrated.
I just said this tonight. Luka needs to do more up & unders. It would’ve worked all night long against UNC’s bugs. And he would’ve got to the Ft line twice as much.
Luka with 16 pts, 14 rebs, 2 ast, 4 blks, 1 steal. Off night. 
It’s so odd to have the Illinois and Iowa the cream of the crop in the big ten.
I’ve tried to watch Rutgers the first few weeks when I can, and I’m a little disappointed in their top recruit so far. He hasn’t provided that talent boost they needed.
But the usuals are the cream of the crop as well.
Mich St & Wis are just as good, if not better than Iowa & Ill.
Bilas is a good commentator, and the second charge against Illinois was a missed call. The one against Duke is, at best, a bang bang call that is really easy to criticize with the benefit of replay imo
It'd be easier to give the refs benefit of the doubt on the first play if they didn't already get block/charge calls wrong over half the time. They have no clue.

Seriously though, the B1G has this year's Challenge already won then, right? Only 11 games now and the B1G is 6-1 after the first night.

Curbelo is way ahead of where freshman usually are at this point. Damn. I like his game.
This is really gonna be a fun year in the Big Ten -- Just hope they are able to get games in although right now, things do not look real promising. This is going to be a very trying time for coaches and athletes as they will essentially have to be isolated from other students and family members.
There are 3 legit national title contenders in the B1G this year, and a slew of teams that are Sweet16 threats.
The best two teams in the B1G right now are Iowa and Illinois and it’s not close.

The vaccine is very likely to start being distributed in the U.S. as early as next week. Get the vulnerable shot up and sitting at home until they're immune and let the kids go to town.
I say inoculate these kids ASAP. Since most of us are staying home, watching the NCAA games on TV is a great diversion for the population.
Yeah, it's great to watch them, but they have a better chance of getting struck by lightning than they do of having any serious complications from COVID.
