Despite advancing 6 to the Sweet 16, ACC teams have yet to defeat a team seeded higher than #7.
Have they though? The B1G has been significant underperformers.
Have they though?
Obviously Purdue getting beat in the first round by a 12-seed is not holding serve, but 5/12 upsets are hardly uncommon.
According to seeds, only Michigan State would be implied by the committee to be expected to make the Sweet 16.
B1G 3rd best and not close.ACC has been no question the best conference. I'd rank the top 3 this year as follows
1: ACC
2: Big 12
3. Big East
