Happy Friday all! Was fortunate enough to get in contact with 5-star guard Addie Deal after her OV, and she ended up telling me a wild story about meeting Layla Hays once before — when they ended up next to each other at a youth camp in 2021, before either began high school. And now here they are about to spend college together.
Addie is a hell of a kid to talk to, and it's not hard to imagine that Iowa fans are going to really enjoy her career. And Jan's going to love having such a similar personality to her own on the court to coach for 4 years.
