With two offensively skilled teams, this game will most likely come down to who shoots it well. If one team is stroking it and the other is struggling.....then there is your winner right there.

I think if both teams are shooting well, or both teams are shooting poorly then Iowa has enough of the other parts of the game tipped in their favor to come out on top.

So when it comes to shooting %, I think 3 of the 4 possibilities lead to a Hawks victory.......the one loser being us shooting poorly and Indiana being hot.

I don't think home court plays a big factor in this one. Here's hoping to a late 80's style game and a Hawks victory!!

For me, keys are what Gesell do we see tonight, keeping Woodbury out of foul trouble, and how well we D up on the '3' in any zone we play as their 3 point shooting scares me after watching them on the road at Michigan. Perhaps man-to-man D most of the game with a full/ 3/4 press sprinkled in?

Defense is going to win or lose this game for Iowa. The result of poor defense would be Indiana getting hot and getting a lot of open looks.

I think we will see lots of the 3/4 press tonight just to slow them down and disrupt their rhythm. I'm not worried about Bryant on the inside, Woody has shown he can defend just about any big guy. He needs to stay out of foul trouble and we need to limit their second chance points. Tonight the bench is going to be key also, when they are on the floor we are going to need them to score so we don't end up with long droughts and let Indiana back into the game or pull away from us.

Iowa wins 78-70. Iowa pulls away late and sinks some FT's to ice it.

I think Uthoff will struggle against OG. OG is long and a good defender. It will be Jok's time to shine again. Ferrell has talked about making this his signature moment this year. Let's hope Clemmons comes to defend.

Let's see.....a 5th year senior, against a 1st year freshmen. Yea, that makes sense. Predict that the freshmen will dominate.....LOL Can Indiana win tonight, absolutely, but Iowa has as much talent if not more then Indiana. AH will not rattle the Hawks tonight, Indiana better bring it or they will slip 2 games behind the Hawks....prediction Iowa 73 Indiana 69, Hawks finally win a close one.
