She has been huge. She's only a Junior too, right? So she'll definitely be a team leader next year.
Just huge. She just needs to be more decisive when she gets the ball.
Martin was very shaky but come through when needed the most. SA has been great
This was textbook team win. Stuelke was exceptional. Martin came through when she was needed. Clark made plays when needed. Syd made the hustle plays. And Gabbie was a lock on D. Like seriously, I think Paige hit one shot in the fourth (fact check?)
Last year Warnock got the offensive rebound when Iowa most needed it against South Carolina, this time it’s Affolter.
Iowa's defense is severely underrated.

She deserves all the credit in the world, but let's not sell the loss of Molly Davis short, if you will. Molly is a ball handler who helps take some of the pressure off CC, and you may have noticed all the TOs Iowa had last night . . . in the first half and then at crunch time that almost cost the game. Had Molly been available, many of those costly TOs would have been avoided. So again, yes, Syd has been fantastic, but the Hawkeyes definitely miss Molly D.
