I was predicting 6-6 or 7-5 as our ceiling. I think this team can play with anyone, but our offense has to get the ball rolling sooner. Also can't rely on Wadley to make every play.

I am leaning more towards 8-4 or 9-3 as a possibility. But I also want to know more about PSU. Are they a good team, or will they struggle and not be as good.

I am still thinking 7-5 or 8-4. The MSU is one of those games that will really decide whether we're closer to 7-5 or 10-2. @NW and tOSU are the other two that I think are toss ups (@NW more likely win then tOSU). I am pretty confident with Illinois (because they suck), Purdue (since it is at home), Minnesota (since it is at home), and Nebraska (because they suck). I think it's unlikely we will beat Wisconsin in Madison, but not impossible.

There is one big issue that is being overlooked. The hawks skipped prep on UNT to spend 2 weeks on PSU prep. They will be able to do that for NW because of a bye but will not have that luxury with any other opponent. If any one is expecting 10 wins this year, you are being very unrealistic.

Disappointed if Iowa does not go 10-2? I would be amazed, perhaps shell-shocked if Iowa went 10-2.

Could happen, highly unlikely if history tells us anything (and it does).

Hawks are notorious for playing to the level of their competition.

I was thinking 7-5 coming into the season given new coordinator, offensive staff, and QB. Feeling more optimistic about 8-4 now with a ceiling of 9-3 if all goes better than expected. At MSU and at NW are games I had as losses initially but I'm feeling better about now.
