That was awesome. Tony's brother running onto the mat for a hug and his corner going absolutely nuts.

So kemmerer won? I can't find any results but on here and I couldn't tell if he beat stroker or not
Yes. I believe he won 5-4Originally posted by Hawknado:

Side note. Two of metcalfs points were penalty points for Pico head slapsOriginally posted by usnlt76:
Kemerer won by i think 1 point
Metcalf won 4-1 lot of hand-fighting, but Pico didn't get close to scoring offense
Unfortunately, I'm not sure he'll be in wrestling long enough for us to see his true potential. Definitely a talentOriginally posted by Sett1997:
Brent just too strong for Pico at this point. Still amazing an 18 year old can even be on the mat with him though and keep it close.
How did Pico score that first point?Originally posted by Sett1997:

They must have put Brent on the clock for passivity early on.Originally posted by HoundedHawk:

Dear God, man. Have you ever wrestled in your life? This isn't college anymore and this isn't folk style. He just beat a guy who has shown he is one of the nation's best and who has also beat some of the world's best. Go play your X-Box.Originally posted by Scryed:
Metcalf was an offensive machine in college. what happened to him? I'm sad to say I can't wait for him to go after seeing that match.
Im sure you are correct. I was in a bar. Couldn't hear anything. LolOriginally posted by Jackhawk87:
I think Pico got his point when Brent got put on the clock and didn't score.
Brent got a TD for 2, 1 for the head slaps, and I thought he got the other when PIco didn't score when he got put on the clock.
The announcers didn't do a great job of announcing who was getting warned for inactivity and who and when the wrestlers were put on the clock - and the ref wasn't always easy to see/follow with his hand signals.
Not an offensive machine...Metcalf outscored his four opponents at last year's U.S. Open 39-0. Metcalf needs to pick it up.Originally posted by Scryed:

The scoring is usually pretty easy to figure out - especially in Metcalf's match. It was a bit difficult to follow the ref and the announcers did not do a very good job of explaining passivity or when the wrestlers were put on the clock.Originally posted by clw421:
Anyone else see the recurring problem here? The scoring makes no sense. It shouldn't be this hard to figure out how the refs arrived at the final score
