Purchased Flo Pro today. Watching a little bit of wrestling tonight on the Roku, but mostly just a loading screen...
Are Flo Pro live events usually this difficult to watch or am I going to get my moneys worth eventually?

They decided to use the college OB stall rules with non college wrestlers/refs. Not a good idea for kids wrestling a single high level match. Predictably there were some iffy calls and non aware kids early on then the refs swallowed their whistles on the call for the most part.

There were some good battles.
Teske and Gomez assaulted Travis Ford-Melton and Alex Thomsen respectively.
Austin O'Connor took out #1 Verkleeren.

Also good to see Kordell Norfleet wrestle on the national level taking out Max Lyon. He's a senior that doesn't travel to the big events and hasn't wrestled in Illinois' largest class. He was in the Harvey Twister kids club (same club that spawned Isaiah White, Kamal Bey, Joe Williams, TJ Williams...). Norfleet has always been a stud and hasn't committed anywhere yet. I think he will be a 184.

Why didn't he end up at OPRF then? I thought Powell went there and Martinez Fox Valley and picked the couple guys he wanted every year.

Great dual. Teske has turned into the #1 p4p kid in the state. These ILL boys are well coached.

Teske is a beast. Lara looked good in his match vs Jrent, great match. Thomsen got smoked by Gomez, but tbh I didn't think that match would be that close. O'connors 'upset' over Verkleeren didn't impress me at all, I missed the first period of the match, but from what I saw O'connor really didn't do a thing, i was surprised he didn't get nailed with stalling, Verkleeren was all over him, and gave him the win by trying a throw and O'connor just fell on him.

Lara has impressed the hell out of me. He has skills and absolutely no fear. He had a good shot to beat JRent tonight. Both of those guys go at 100% all night long...my favorite match of the night. Teske is a Hawkeye...he just may not know it yet.

I would hate to see a guy like Teske go somewhere else, he's a beast, do you see him fitting into the lineup in the future? He's class of 2018 I believe.

Is he getting big? This match was at 120 wasn't it? If you remember back to his Fargo final the Decatur guy made Teske look small. this is my personal opinion but he's going into his junior year and he still looks like he is growing into a good sized 125. He's got some ways to go to be a small 141.

Yes Teske was impressive last night, but with Lee and Murin in class of 2017 and Teasdale in 2018 25-41 is covered. Teske is too talented to come to Iowa and sit behind those guys for 3-4 years.

Teske is going to be worth a full ride to some teams. Would I take Teske on the team I cheer for? In a heartbeat. That alone is going to be an uphill battle.

Teske looked impressive, and maybe he ends up at Iowa, but imho, it's waaaay to early to making predictions about how successful he'll be at d1 level. He looked great against Ford-Melton at Agony, but a few months ago, Decatur absolutely mauled Teske, winning by TF. Decatur, from Ohio, is only a soph.

Brands just has to do his best Cael impression on and Teske will be filled with so much team pride and spirit that his family will jump at the chance to put a second mortgage on their home so their son can go to Iowa on 15%.
And for fitting into the lineup? No problem. Using the pioneering model set forth upon us by psu, we can just ship Teske off to Colorado for a year to sit.

I figure the lack of mat time would be the deterrer, not $.

He and Bennett just took an unofficial visit to Iowa not to long ago, so obvious interest on both sides.

Can't say a whole lot more but there is other schools far more interested. Unless something drastically changes then he would be headed elsewhere. He did just have a teammate commit to UNI also.

I've watched these guys from Fort Dodge develop as a group. They have been fun to watch and are developing every year. Very good citizens. I think they get the title this year. Hard to tell how big Teske is going to get. Would not surprise me if he grew to 149. He may stay small, but his growth the last couple years leads me to think he will get bigger.
