Padilla didn’t get any others Power 5 offers other than Iowa which makes you think that he isn’t a prototypical pro style QB. But what he lacks in size he makes up for in accuracy and touch. He throws a very catchable ball. I was also impressed by his fleet of receivers. He threw TD’s to at least four different guys. Check out #14: big, elusive and fast. He would be a good get to go along with AP.

For the love of christmas.....#14 is going to Colorado.

That is why people are so unimpressed with this guy. He has 2 d1 wide receivers on his highschool team. You could make a legitimate argument that this kid was throwing to better talent, against highschoolers, than CJB was working with in '16.

Nobody knows if he will develop into a big time QB or not but 2 of the top NFL QB draft picks were walk-ons this year.

IMO, he is a good fit. Iowa has a clear JR Pro style starter, RS Fr Dual QB, Pro Style Fr and now a dual (ish) incoming freshmen. He is a smart kid and most smart kids are also great workers, leaders and stay in school.

Throws a hell of a deep ball, liked his throws rolling out to the left. Nice throws to the left flat from the pocket too. I know it’s a highlight tape but he can make all the throws.
