125 lbs Kraisser knocks off McGhee 3-2. Got taken down in the first period, got two escapes. McGhee chose down in the third and got ridden out for 2 minutes to lose.

Richards win 9-7 on a late takedown in the 3rd period, was tied 7-7 late with 2 takedowns a piece.. Montoya looking like a boxer out there.

PSU Shout out to this IOWA forum, I really do like your board..you guys are very active and I know when I would like updates on things that are currently happening I can find it here. Just want to say thank you

On another note, sounds like some exciting matches

Ashnault/Meredith a good one as well. Currently 6-5 Meredith start of the third. Don't think Meredith has took a legit shot...all scored off of Ashnault shots. In Ot.

Just as a say that, Meredith shoots in OT...they had a great scramble still tied. Anthony in on a shot and wins it.

Ashnault over Meredith 8-6 in SV. Another exciting match! Meredith with 2 first period takedowns, and a reversal for ashnault as well as a TD and another TD in SV to win.

Mayes is a big dude. Very fast paced...one of these dudes are going to gas

Mayes blowing snot rockets...Collica up 7-5. That's how it ends. Collica wrestled well

Collica manages to tie up the ankles in that last scramble where he could have got reversed. Wins 7-5

Wow, Murphy leading Rohskopf 6-4 in the 3rd, Rohskopf had riding time too, and Murphy was in on a shot, Rohskopf trapped an arm and bumped him to his hip then kind of walked around to his head and stuck him.

Pin for Roschkof in a funky position. Murphy is very susceptible on the ride...Keep him from scoring much in the first period, wear him out on bottom and beat him.

Ok...this match is going to be dope. C'mon on Daniel.

Lewis with the TD...Hi C to a double at the edge in the last seconds of the 1st

I gotta pull for Jordan here, live in Wisconsin and have been out to SPG for Jeff Jordan camps when in HS, all great people out there, really great people and really great passion for wrestling out there. Tangled with Bo and Isaac before college, those guys are tough as nails, watched them scrap a lot as well there.

Jordan goes neutral...don't think a lot of guys are going to pick bottom on Lewis this year. Score is 3-2 Lewis. Lewis is gassing and its 4-3 Jordan and he has riding time. 5-3 is how it ends. Lewis needs to hit the treadmill.

Jordan wins 5-3. Rides him out the third period, big mat returns as always from him. Just grinds you out from the top position. Hope to see Marinelli match up with another SPG alumni this season.

Lewis is from a school I went to for a year in Blue Springs, Mo. NY...both guys are pretty strong and lean but Isaac looked a little bit bigger.

That was weird. Brunson had Ramos up on one leg and he didn't even try to finish. Brunson gives up the easy TD at the end of the second. 4-4 Brunson has riding time.

Ramos has ridden of the RT...Brunson's switch has seemed to just turn off.

Brunson gets a 3rd period escape and hangs on for an unimpressive 5-4 win.

Brunson wins but he was dead...leaning on the ref at the end of the match

Another PSU fan here thanking HR for the updates and insight. Much appreciated. Sounds like some matches I'm eventually going to want to catch somehow.
No question. One thing about the Hawk board is they stay up to date & post on "everything" wrestling...no tourney, event or dual is too small...great job fellas. Updates are greatly appreciated....

So hard to judge much off this meet. Seems like 80% of the guys gas because it's early season

Was tied 4-4 late in the 3rd, Pfarr gets a counter TD off of Harners shot, and gets the 8 extra seconds he needed of riding time for 1 min, wins 7-4.

Medberry going to be tough to beat for everyone not named Snyder. He should give Kyle a good match.

Medbery over Walz 5-2. It was a 3-2 paced match, but Walz got a little sloppy on the edge after an escape in the 2nd period and Medbery capitalized.
