Why do we not run that play more often. With all the attention and double teams that happen to Pete, I feel like alley oops should be open a lot.

Completely agree. That baseline alley oop a staple with White. Wagner and Cook should be able to get some easy high percentage points.

If you run it a lot, it is less likely to be there when you really need an easy bucket.

A little like a flea-flicker in Football. "damn that flea-flicker went for a 75 yard td....we should run that every series!"

I'm sure I missed a few, but it seems like we only did it a little with Uthoff, and maybe once this year. That is not often enough. It was the perfect amount with White.

I agree, but if you run it more, it keeps the defense on their toes, maybe creates slightly more room for Jok or anyone. We all know what Jok can do with a little space.

It takes awareness to run it and dont know if we have the chemistry between players yet. Doubles on the perimeter with a solid post back screen and it is open almost everytime.

Both alley oop and screen and roll worked really well last night. I don't remember if most were with Haas in the post, but he probably lacks the foot quickness to adequately defend those plays. Definitely nice to see the defensive attention paid to Pete used to our advantage.
