Fifty-two percent of Wrestling for Life donors post on Hawkeye Report.
Here's what you have accomplished so far in 2015:
Roughly 1,000 kids got to share the excitement of big-time wrestling. You gave them free tickets to Grapple on the Gridiron, AGON V, the first Middle School Wrestling Day at UNI, the NCAA Division III Championships and duals at Maryland, Rutgers and Iowa.
You nurtured girls' wrestling in Iowa by helping Female Elite Wrestling (FEW) with training and competition expenses.
...
You provided wrestling shoes for middle school athletes from financially challenged families in Oklahoma and Iowa.
You joined the Beat the Streets movement by sponsoring an athlete from Beat the Streets - Baltimore at the Middle School Nationals and funding a trip for 40 members to the Iowa/Maryland dual meet.
You furthered the educational role of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum by co-sponsoring a Gold Level table at the Gable Gala.
In other words, your kindness touched well over 1,000 young people by bringing or keeping "the world's oldest and greatest sport" into their lives. Make no mistake - none of this happened were it not for your generosity.
THANK YOU and - let's "get'em on the mat and keep'em on the mat" in 2016
