Yep. That was the war, based on lies, that the war criminal George W Bush unleashed on Iraq. The one that wouldn’t have happened without democratic support.
Democrats believed Bush's lies. Or was it Dick Cheney's lies? Donald Rumsfeld's?

Hell, even Colin Powell and Condoleeza Rice believed the lies, and they were insiders in the administration.

You people need to pick up a book.

"Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American)" is a song written and recorded by American country music artist Toby Keith. The song was written in late 2001, and was inspired by Keith's father's death in March 2001, as well as the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States later that year. It was released in May 2002 as the lead single from the album, Unleashed.

A "book"? How about Google OR just know the artist in which case you'd know he never intended to release this as a single. For the longest while he only played it for the troops; however, his daughter reportedly convinced to him to release it. According to Toby, his daughter had heard the song and felt strongly that it should be released to the public.

Nothing to do with Iraq.

They were all in on it. Including the Dems.

Their masters told them it made complete sense to invade Iraq over an attack carried out by Saudis (allegedly).

Uniparty.

The rationale for OIF, was pretty multifaceted and evolved over time. WMDs (which was the MAJOR selling point), links to terrorism (Saddam's regime had links to terrorist organizations, including al-Qaeda), regime change and democracy promotion, and human rights and liberation (probably to rope in the Dems). Oh, lets not forget about the black gold either.

The biggest emotional pull was the forced overlap with 9/11, so I'll give you that.

Perpetual war is $$$.

Any Dem or Pub that goes along to get along is rewarded. If they don’t they won’t be in office long.

The MIC always wins.

Is this taught in history?

Even if it isn't, it dropped in 2002, during peak jingo times, and became a bit of a mantra for chest beating guys. I think context of the times matter. It became a war anthem for millions.

The mental gymnastics must be exhausting. My condolences.

IMO, it was mostly VP Cheney and Rumsfeld. Scooter Libby, too.

Sweep it all up. Things related and not.

Add in a lot of the Project for the New American Century (PNAC) and the Neocons.

Look at the list of signatories who signed up for the war in the ME.

All they needed was "A New Pearl Harbor"; (9/11).

PNAC

The CONS got this through by hook and crook. This is why I believe the new Project 2025 needs to be taken just as seriously.
