So do you feel the same way about a retired military person that goes to work somewhere else then retires and then draws an additional pension from the last employer and the military?

Apples and oranges.

If a person retires from the military and receives a pension, then goes to work for some company while still receiving a pension I have no problem with that.

I have no problem with "retirement" double dipping if they qualify and earned it.

Not to mention that it's been the Republicans who have complained the loudest about career politicians. It doesn't get too much more career than having the longest service in the history of the nation. Consistency is a weird thing for people like Ned.
