As of now, that's the plan. The oldest will have to keep his nose clean and start living the life TnT expect out of our wrestlers. If he doesn't he won't be here. He told them that this is what he wants, now he has to prove it. Hawk Nation needs to get behind the kid and let him know we want him here but we demand he be better than he has been. It's really that simple.
Aj is very calculating. He prob pulled this shit to have a ligit excuse to bypass this yr because he knows hes not close to A brooks. Kid is a delusional self promoting criminal in my eyes. Ticking time bomb that this program will pay the price for.
People are capable of changing and doing better with the right guidance. If he starts listening to the positive influences in his life he can achieve great things. If he doesn't he could absolutely end up in prison. I'm hoping for a great outcome.

I watched his antics after the SS and I also so the social media presentation of it. Social media and regular media sure do have a way of making things look way worse than they are. Those still shot photos make it seem like he was in the splits for hours and that is where he practically lives.
He lost his head again and let his temper get the best of him. I am sure I did worse things than that when I was younger, but now with social media and all the virtue signaling people in the world, we stand ready to judge and prosecute anyone we can.
That being said, I am glad he isn't representing my team (not that I have one) or my company, but in 10 years he may look back and say the 2nd/3rd chance given to me by the Brands brothers was the turning point in his life.

i've done way worse than that, but not worse than what may have happened to the girl.anybody ever been to a meet at carver knows the crowd wants to be part of the show, they got what they wanted.
With getting such a late start after such a long layoff, 3rd may have been realistic. If he wants 3 more championships, waiting until next year is best bet. Probably better for Anthony to redshirt and be 157 next year instead of sucking so much weight are being away from wrestling for 2 years. This seems obvious to us, but they have insane smog confidence.
2021: Covid Year
2022: First year of eligibility used
2023: Redshirt
2024: Olympic redshirt

Actually, that makes him neither delusional nor desperate; it makes him pretty typical actually. I've seen this countless times over the last 30 or so years where a law firm brings in a perceived big hitter with known or obvious 'difficult' characteristics. Implicit in the decision is always the idea that "we can change him/her in our great culture". But real life doesnt really work that way when it comes to these types. As they say, beauty is only skin deep, but ugliness goes right to the core.

They are not winning it with or without them. So then it becomes does their presence hurt the program further than Chittum? Crappy recruiting up front is why they are down this road in the first place. That needs to get sorted ASAP. Lineup planning to go along with identifying, pursuing and signing high end highschool talent. If (that is a very big if) AJ and Anthony can be well behaved members of the team who are respectful of their teammates and the fans without causing controversy then their presence probably won't have much negative effect.
Others have stated that getting champs and winning big matches is about as big as the recruiting and goes hand in hand. I agree, If they behave and you get a few titles between AJ and Angelo then it becomes good move. Nothing against Anthony but I need to see more from him to even talk AA.
If the whole thing implodes, they jump ship, bad PR, no titles, no chittum, recruiting still a problem then it's a big blunder.

Would you let him date your daughter or sister
Would you let your son hang out with him
Would you recommend him to a friend for anything
Would you want him as a teammate
Would you want him to teach/coach your kid

Why TF do you even care? This is a win-win for you, either they behave themselves and wrestle for Iowa and we likely compete for championships. Or they don’t behave and TnT likely get fired because of it, which you seem to be a big proponent for anyways. Where’s the downside for you?
