Anthony Nelson & the Bucs have agreed to a Two-Year, $11M deal w/ another $2M in Incentives

Happy to see that. If he can stay healthy his next contract will be the really big one.
Very good for him. I hope he is keeping tabs on his hits to his head like all these guys should be. He has big money already as 95+% of people dont make 3+ million in their lifetimes, (just an estimate). If he gets 11 million more that would be a set for life kind of thing.

With proper investments possibly. But he'll find something after football, smart kid.

He could just stick it in the bank and not invest it and he'd be set for life.

*I realize he doesn't get the entire $11M ...taxes, agent fees, accountants, lawyers, etc

You dont think 12 to 14 million in earnings by the time you are 35 is not enough to live on? Hell he should be able to invest in very risk averse CDs and bonds and never worry about money, hell he could but stash it in a bunch of solid banks

I continue to be amazed at the guys Iowa always puts into the NFL.

You'd think the Hawks should win 9+ games every season with the occasional 10/11 win seasons sprinkled in.
People keep saying this. The problem is that all their NFL players are not difference makers on offense.

Quite frankly I am amazed we have won 18 games the last 2 years given we have no offensive skill players go to NFL. Laporta was nice but not enough to carry a team.

About as bad a loss for the Eagles as Dallas had.
Eagles have a culture problem. I doubt Soriano will survive this. Never seen so much half-ass tackling in my life. Nobody wanted to be out there because they knew they were going to get stomped. Something happened to this team after the 49ers blew them out at home.

Hurts is not a verbal leader. Sounds like Kelce is going to retire. Lane Johnson doesn't seem much of a leader. Frustration spilled over between Hurts and Goeddert on the bench last night.

Might have to blow them up and start over.

Good for Anthony!
One of my favorites with the way he played and represented Iowa. Also, appreciate his 3 sacks in the first half of the MN game back in 2018.
