Any info on what the NE OL did to Jewell after his pick?

After Josey's pick, #68 of NE tackles him. There's then a skirmish and Josey gets up fuming about it. He goes over to the refs and appears to be telling them what the NE OL did. It looked like #68 must have gotten off a cheap shot after the tackle.

I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere yet. SIAP. Anyone have any info on what happened?

Believe he had some active hands on Jewell. Not surprising, Nick Gates is as dirty as they come.

Thanks for the feedback. He presumably did something dirty -- just curious as to whether anyone knew exactly what it was. I've never seen Jewell that mad, and Epenesa wasn't happy about it, either. I figured someone caught wind of exactly what #68 did. It's not visible from the TV camera angle, unfortunately.

I believe the technical term is, ' giving him the business'.

One of the all-time great calls by a ref. . . . I remember the "original" call of "giving him the business" from an NFL ref. He actually used arm gestures and said something like "He had him down there and was giving him the business." Would be awesome if someone found that footage in the NFL Films archives.

After watching it several times on tv, it almost looked like he took a swing at him as they were getting up. That was the only thing I could come up with, may be completely wrong though.

On one of the last drives our starters were in for Jewell makes a hard tackle on their RB/WR (can't really remember now, pretty drunk) and extends his hand to help him up. DBag Nebraska player refuses and Josey had a pretty good expression on his face after.

I'm glad we don't have a bunch of low-rent DBags on our team. The fact we aren't a garbage program on the field like Nebraska is just a bonus.
