Any new grad transfers???

Does anyone actually have information that Jones is going to be able to play? Seems like some on here take it for granted, but that type of injury can be tough to come back from so quickly and I haven't seen any positive updates.
There was a report back in late January/early February where Fran said Jones was ahead of schedule and was running stairs

Imbalanced classes is a failure in recruiting.

Imbalanced classes is a form of recruiting failure. If any top 25 type program has a "bubble team at best" type of team something isn't going right. Fran was feeling a little heat this year. I think he will get a pass for a rebuilding year. Better hope one year doesn't turn into two or three if that freshman class is a flop.
Go tell Calipari at Kentucky how terribly he has failed at recruiting because of the imbalanced classes he has...

True this. Cal's problem is definitely not recruiting, but rather molding the group of new studs he gets every year into a team.

P.S. I don't feel sorry for Calipari and the struggles he has to deal with because he usually collects about 5 of the top 10 nationally ranked recruits. We should all have to suffer as he does.

The Hawkeyes are going to struggle at times this year. I'm sorry, but they are. Could we win enough and gel quickly enough to make the NCAA's? Of course we could, but the odds are, replacing 4 senior starters with kids with virtually no experience, you are going to take a step back and maybe a big one. Not a recruiting failure at all, it's a program that is still growing and growth can be painful at times.

First kilroy shows up and tries to derail this thread, then we get multiple trolls showing up. thread ruined, its just no fun arguing with idiots.

really don't understand why Iowa has been mentioned with any grad transfers. That should be their number one priority.

Iowa fans don't like grad transfers, remember? Fran surely won't go that route.

I think the odds are pretty good that someone who has not played or not played very much will be really good for us next year. That person or persons will have an eye-opening season. It happens nearly every year. It could be Moss, Jones, possibly cook or even Baer.

If you believe that the bottom drops out next season then you have to believe none of our players will have developed and i think the chances of that are really poor.
